American Coachwerks, LLC is a new company by name, but not by our experience. Thomas C. Losh, Owner of American Coachwerks, has thirty years of experience in the school bus industry as both a Head Mechanic and Fleet Operations Manager, his vast knowledge of the industry has earned him a great deal of respect over the years throughout the State of New Jersey. Tom, combined with our other technicians bring over 75 years of experience in school buses, light and medium duty trucks, RV’s, large and small coaches as well as automobiles of all sizes, there is no job to big or too small. We pride ourselves on our extensive knowledge, our integrity, our respect for others and above all else, our honesty. We are totally committed to perform the highest quality repair while maintaining affordable pricing.

Our facility is conveniently located just a few miles from Route 80 in Northern New Jersey. We are extremely proud of our brand new building is a spacious 5,000 sq. feet with 14 foot garage doors and extremely high ceilings to accommodate all sizes of vehicles. We have all new hydraulic lifts and jacks and our last bay contains a 16,000 lb. four post lift to lift small to mid-size vehicles. Our diagnostic equipment includes the latest SPX/Genisys Scan Tool installed with heavy duty programs, for ABS we run Tool Box and Bendix software, Allison Doc 5 for all transmission problems and we have the capability to diagnose all multiplex systems. We have all new state-of-the-art equipment in tire machines and wheel balancers. We also have the capability to fabricate and build those hard to find parts in special applications including fire truck and ambulances.
